These comfortably uphostered pews allow for sitting longer periods of time, and help keep the occupants awake and alert. Like our other made-to-order benches, the Model 825 is made with genuine hardwoods that selected especially for furniture building; we don't use veneers, plywood, chipboard, or hidden core material in these benches. If you intend to use this pew in a courtroom, you will be pleased to know that a spacer option is available. The spacer places a 1 Inch spacer between the back and the seat, which is helpful in several ways: it increases ventilation, it makes cleaning easier as dirt and small items will fall through to the floor, it prevents contraband from being hidden.
