Steeples

One of the best ways a church can increase it’s visibility is with a steeple.
A steeple serves as a focal point for the members of the church and the community.
Another church in just another building looks like just another building.
A church with a steeple becomes a landmark.
It becomes easy to tell prospective new members how to find you, “Our church is the church with the big white steeple on 5th Avenue.”
Add to that the fact that steeples are simply architecturally pleasing.
So, how does a church go about getting that steeple?
The best steeples made today are constructed of tubular steel and fiberglass.
Steel and fiberglass steeples last a long time, keep their good looks and are structurally strong. Fiberglass allows greater details to be molded in and allows many customizations and additional features at lower costs.
Beware of imitations! Many steeples will be made with flat steel or angle steel which is structurally weaker, or with dimensional lumber which will rot and is much weaker than steel.
Our steeple line is made of tubular steel and fiberglass. All our steeples (properly installed) are rated for a wind load of 120 MPH. This rating covers most areas of the country, if you are in a coastal location that requires a higher rating or your local building codes require a higher rating please call us 866 473 9748.
Beware of steeple companies that do not have a wind load rating, a low wind load rating or are evasive about answering your questions about wind loads.
There are many models and accessory features available, from very simple one piece steeples that are attractive and economical to very tall detailed steeples with crosses, clocks, carillon screens, urns etc.
With steeples the sky is the limit!
